Plastic Recycling Granulators

Granulating lines turn film scrap and edge trim back into clean pellets — reusable in your own blown film line, cutting material cost and waste.

Definition

What is a plastic recycling granulator?

A recycling granulator feeds scrap film into a cutter, melts and filters the polymer in an extruder, then strands or cuts it into uniform pellets. With washing and drying stages, even contaminated edge trim becomes usable regrind.

E-SHION's SJ series processes HDPE, LDPE and PP scrap at 150–500 kg/h with screw diameters from 100 to 150 mm — sized for closed-loop recycling next to a blown film line.

Frequently asked
questions

What can it recycle?

Film scrap, edge trim, purge and off-spec rolls of PE and PP. With a washing stage, contaminated agricultural and post-industrial film can also be processed.

Can pellets go back into my blown film line?

Yes — that is the closed-loop configuration: the granulator sits beside the film line and feeds regrind at a controlled ratio.

What output do I need?

From 150 to 500 kg/h depending on screw size; choose by your daily scrap volume and the output of your film line.

How does the line work?

Shred or cut → wash (optional) → extrude and filter → strand or cut into pellets → cool and pack.

Is it CE certified?

Yes — all E-SHION machinery is assessed to the Machinery, Low Voltage and EMC directives.
