Flexo Printing Machines

Flexographic presses print with flexible plates on film, paper and non-woven materials — the workhorse for flexible packaging, bags and labels.

Definition

What is a flexo printing machine?

A flexo press transfers ink from a flexible plate onto the substrate between an anilox roller and an impression roller. Stack-type presses arrange the color units vertically — compact, cost-effective and well suited to film and paper converting.

E-SHION offers 4-color and 6-color stack presses with 950 mm print width and speeds up to 120 m/min, printing paper, film, non-woven and woven PP with in-line converting options.

Frequently asked
questions

Flexo vs gravure — which do I need?

Flexo suits shorter runs, flexible packaging and quick changeover; gravure suits long, high-volume runs with the highest color consistency. Many converters run both.

Stack vs CI vs inline?

Stack presses are compact and cost-effective for film and paper; CI presses give the best register for extensible film; inline presses combine printing with other converting steps.

What materials can it print?

Paper, PE/PP film, non-woven and woven PP, with surface treatment where needed.

Can it integrate with bag making?

Yes — flexo can run in line with bag making machines so printed bags are finished in one pass.

What speed can I expect?

Up to 120 m/min mechanical on the YTB-A 61000; your achievable speed depends on substrate, ink system and drying.
