Product overview

What it is,
what it makes

The PP film blowing machine provides a solution to meet these needs. It offers efficiency, flexibility, and adaptability for many uses. For instance, consider the food packaging industry. This is great for snacks and frozen foods. The smooth production process allows for different film thicknesses and widths. This makes it good for many things, like snacks and frozen foods. The smooth production process allows for different film thicknesses and widths. This a ensures that manufacturers can cater to a diverse range of products, enhancing their market reach. Manufacturers designed our PP Double Layer Rotary Head PP Film Blowing Machine. It provides high quality and consistency in flexible packaging. These examples show how versatile the PP film blowing machine is. This helps manufacturers meet the different needs of many industries while keeping quality high.ckaging films. It uses advanced rotary winding technology and precise frequency control. It also has automated temperature management. These films meet the highest standards for premium printing and packaging. This is all done with our PP film blowing machine. From food and beverage packaging to pharmaceutical wraps and retail merchandise bags, our blown film extruder adapts to various materials including PP, PE, and CPE. Whether you need high-clarity films for printing or strong, consistent films for industrial use, this machine delivers. These applications show how versatile the pp film blowing machine is. This helps manufacturers meet the different needs of many industries while keeping quality high. Energy-Efficient O

How it works

How it works,
step by step

Step 01 — Material Melting

Screw Extrusion

Raw polymer pellets compatible with PP, PE, or CPE are fed into twin 65mm screws driven by a 22 kW main motor. Mechanical shear and barrel heaters convert the solid resin into a homogeneous melt before it advances to the die assembly. This continuous feeding stage establishes the baseline throughput for the entire line.

Step 02 — Melt Distribution

Rotary Head Forming

The molten polymer enters a double-layer rotary head where two independent melt streams are combined into a single annular flow. Internal land length adjustments ensure uniform pressure distribution across the die gap. This configuration eliminates weld lines and prepares the melt for stable inflation.

Step 03 — Bubble Expansion

Inflation and Cooling

Controlled air pressure expands the extruded tube into a vertical bubble while a cooling ring removes excess heat from the outer surface. The operator sets the final dimensions using the draw-down ratio, targeting film widths between 200 and 1000 mm and individual layer thicknesses from 0.01 to 0.15 mm. Consistent cooling stabilizes the polymer crystallinity before downstream handling.

Step 04 — Web Handling

Traction and Winding

Heated nip rollers engage the cooled bubble and pull it downward at regulated traction speeds to flatten it into a dual-layer film web. The system sustains a maximum output of 100 kg/h while maintaining constant tension across the material path. The flattened film is then directed to a winding station for final collection and slitting.

Price & quotation

Price on request — factory-direct

Every PP Film Blowing Machine is built to your configuration, so the final price depends on the options you choose. The main price drivers are:

  • Machine width and output — wider and faster configurations cost more.
  • Layer, color or sealing-lane count.
  • Automation level — servo drives, automatic features and PLC control.
  • Certification and market adaptation — CE, EAC, 220V/60Hz or 380V/50Hz.
  • Shipping terms — FOB Ningbo/Shanghai, CIF or door-to-door, plus installation and training.

Frequently asked
questions

How much does this machine cost?

Factory-direct pricing depends on your configuration — width, output, layer or color count and automation level. Send us your target specs and we confirm an exact price within one business day.

What affects the price of this machine?

The main price drivers are machine size and output, number of layers or colors, servo versus stepper drives, automation features, certifications (CE/EAC), voltage adaptation, and shipping and installation terms.

What film width and thickness can this machine produce?

The line handles the width and thickness range shown in the spec sheet — typically 500–2500 mm film width and 0.01–0.12 mm thickness, depending on the model. The exact range for your configuration is confirmed in the proposal.

What materials does it process?

Standard blown film lines process LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE, MDPE and EVA; multi-layer models also run PA and EVOH barrier layers for high-barrier packaging film.

How long is delivery?

Typical delivery is 15–30 days from order confirmation, depending on the configuration and current production schedule. We confirm the exact lead time in the quotation.

Is the machine CE certified?

Yes. Our machinery is assessed to the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU, Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and EMC Directive 2014/30/EU. The certificate of conformity is provided with the machine.

Can the line be customized?

Yes — film width, output, layer structure, die diameter and automation level are all configurable. Tell us your material and daily output target and we will size the line around it.

Do you provide installation and training?

Yes. Our engineers supervise installation and commissioning on site, run the first production trials and train your operators — on-site or remotely.
