Express Bag Making Machine (DHL-800)

The express bag making machine (also commonly referred to as a courier bag making machine) is the backbone of the modern e-commerce logistics chain.

Product overview

What it is,
what it makes

The express bag making machine (also commonly referred to as a courier bag making machine) is the backbone of the modern e-commerce logistics chain. As global shipping demands skyrocket, the need for reliable, high-speed, and automated packaging solutions has never been greater. The DHL-800 model represents the pinnacle of this technology, combining high-speed production with precision engineering to meet the rigorous demands of the courier industry. When selecting a courier bag making machine, the technical parameters are the first thing a professional buyer looks for. The DHL-800 offers a versatile range of specifications: The primary advantage of this express bag making machine is its incredible throughput. Capable of producing up to 250 pieces per minute, it allows manufacturers to fulfill massive orders in record time. Whether you are producing small envelopes or large shipping bags, the wide adjustable range (up to 800mm width) ensures that your production line remains flexible. A courier bag making machine must be built to last. The DHL-800 features a heavy-duty channel steel frame with elevated notch flanging. This structural integrity minimizes vibrations during high-speed operation, which is critical for maintaining accuracy. Furthermore, the machine is equipped with an imported forged steel non-stick express bag knife, designed for a long service life and clean, precise cuts every time. Automation is at the heart of the DHL-800. This express bag making machine integrates several smart systems: One of the most difficult parts of courier bag production is the adhes

How it works

How it works,
step by step

Step 01 — Material Setup

Load Film and Configure Dimensions

Raw plastic film is mounted on the unwinding shaft. Operators set the target bag width between 50 mm and 800 mm and verify the film thickness falls within the 3 μm to 10 μm specification range before initiating the feed.

Step 02 — Forming and Sealing

Fold Tube and Apply Adhesive

The film passes through the forming block to create a tube, which is then sealed using the automatic glue-breaking mechanism. The cutter divides the continuous tube into individual bags with lengths adjustable from 50 mm to 850 mm.

Step 03 — Production Cycle

Run at Variable Speed

The drive system executes the manufacturing cycle at speeds ranging from 20 to 250 pieces per minute. The machine maintains this throughput by regulating the servo motors and timing mechanisms according to the programmed production rate.

Step 04 — Power and Operation

Connect Power and Monitor

The equipment connects to an electrical supply compatible with 220 V or 380 V voltage standards. The control panel displays real-time status while the system manages the 8.5 kW total power draw throughout the automated bag making process.

Frequently asked
questions

How much does this machine cost?

Factory-direct pricing depends on your configuration — width, output, layer or color count and automation level. Send us your target specs and we confirm an exact price within one business day.

What affects the price of this machine?

The main price drivers are machine size and output, number of layers or colors, servo versus stepper drives, automation features, certifications (CE/EAC), voltage adaptation, and shipping and installation terms.

What bag sizes can this machine produce?

Bag size ranges are listed in the spec sheet — typically up to the width and length shown for the model. The machine is adjusted for your bag dimensions during commissioning.

What is the production speed?

Speed is shown in the spec sheet (cycles per minute). Actual output depends on bag size and film material; daily output estimates are included in the quotation.

How long is delivery?

Typical delivery is 15–30 days from order confirmation, depending on the configuration and current production schedule. We confirm the exact lead time in the quotation.

Is the machine CE certified?

Yes. Our machinery is assessed to the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU, Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and EMC Directive 2014/30/EU. The certificate of conformity is provided with the machine.

Can it run different bag types?

Each model is built for a specific bag family (T-shirt, zipper, garment, garbage, side-seal, etc.). If you produce multiple bag types, tell us your mix and we will recommend the right machine or line.

Do you provide installation and training?

Yes. Our engineers supervise installation and commissioning on site, run the first production trials and train your operators — on-site or remotely.
