Product overview
Eight colors at
150 meters per minute
The ESAY-C 1350 is an eight-color rotogravure printing machine with a 3-motor drive system, built for long, consistent, high-color runs on flexible packaging films. It is suitable for multi-color continuous printing on roll materials with good printing performance — BOPP, CPP, PET, PVC, PE, NYLON and similar films, plus paper and compound film.
The line runs at a maximum printing speed of 150 m/min (170 m/min mechanical) across a 1300 mm web, with a fully closed-loop four-section tension system that holds 3–30 kg at ±0.5 kg accuracy. Registration is controlled vertically with video inspection at ±0.1 mm, and the shaft-less pneumatic conic cylinder mounting makes color changes fast and accurate.
Key production features include zero-speed difference splicing on the inside single-station unwinder and rewinder, separate in-feed and out-feed tension units with dancing-roller closed-loop control, an oil-immersed gearbox drive, fully closed drying ovens with second hot-air recycling, and a Kesai ARC system with Siemens PLC tension control and Weinview HMI.
The machine includes tools, ladder, spare rubber roller and diaphragm pump as standard accessories, and its main configuration uses DANMA servo motors, Inovance inverters, Fujikura pneumatic components, Omron photoelectric eyes and NSK-grade guiding roller bearings.

Working principle
How the ESAY-C
prints your film
A rotogravure line is a continuous web path: unwind, tension, print through eight stations, dry, cool, then rewind — with register held by closed-loop control.
Change rolls without stopping
The inside single-station unwinder uses magnetic powder brake tension and zero-speed difference splicing, with a rotation rack that auto-positions and resets in an emergency — so roll changes waste almost no film.
Stable web from the first meter
A steel power roll driven by a separate 2.2 kW motor plus a nitrile flexible roller creates clean tension sections. A dancing roller with linear potentiometer feeds the closed-loop tension controller.
Gravure cylinders transfer each color
Each station dips its engraved cylinder in the ink tray; the doctor blade wipes excess ink and the impression roller presses the web against the cylinder. Shaft-less pneumatic conic mounting makes cylinder changes fast, and the oil-immersed gearbox drives all stations in sync.
Closed ovens, recycled hot air
Fully closed ovens with flat long air nozzles dry each color at up to 45 m/s wind speed with ±2 °C temperature control. Second hot-air recycling and a negative-pressure design save energy and prevent blistering.
Set the ink before the next station
A double cooling design — Φ150 mm cooling roller plus 30 m/s cooling wind — brings the web back to a stable temperature between stations.
±0.1 mm, roll after roll
Vertical auto registration with video inspection and the Kesai ARC system hold color at ±0.1 mm. The rewinder uses a torque motor with settable tension attenuation, so rolls stay tight without “cabbage” distortion.
Price & quotation
Price on request — factory-direct
Every ESAY-C 1350 mm 8-Color Rotogravure Printing Machine is built to your configuration, so the final price depends on the options you choose. The main price drivers are:

Buyers ask
Frequently asked
questions
How much does this machine cost?
Factory-direct pricing depends on your configuration — width, output, layer or color count and automation level. Send us your target specs and we confirm an exact price within one business day.
What affects the price of this machine?
The main price drivers are machine size and output, number of layers or colors, servo versus stepper drives, automation features, certifications (CE/EAC), voltage adaptation, and shipping and installation terms.
What materials can the ESAY-C gravure machine print?
It prints BOPP, CPP, PET, PVC, PE and NYLON films, paper (30–80 g/m²) and compound film (15–120 μm). Typical film ranges: PVC 30–90 μm, PET 12–60 μm, OPP 20–60 μm, BOPP 19–60 μm, PE 30–120 μm, NY 12–90 μm, CPP 20–60 μm.
How many colors does this rotogravure press support?
Eight printing stations with vertical auto registration control and video inspection, registration accuracy ±0.1 mm.
What is the printing speed of the ESAY-C 1350?
Maximum printing speed is 150 m/min, with a maximum mechanical speed of 170 m/min. Tension is held at 3–30 kg with ±0.5 kg accuracy.
What does the 3-motor system mean?
The press uses three servo/digital motors — the main drive (7.5 kW) plus separate in-feed and out-feed motors (2.2 kW each) — each with digital AC inverter control and encoders, giving independent, stable tension control on both ends of the line.
Does the machine support automatic splicing?
Yes. The inside single-station unwinder and rewinder support zero-speed difference splicing with stable tension and low waste, with rotation racks that auto-position and reset in an emergency.
Is the ESAY-C gravure machine CE certified and supported?
Yes. E-SHION machinery is assessed to the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU and EMC Directive 2014/30/EU, and every line includes installation, training and 24/7 technical support.
